Please join us for the March for Jesus 2019 in Calgary, Alberta. Once again, the march will start at Millennium Plaza and will end at Olympic Plaza with celebration, praise, worship, and prayer during the march and the celebration to follow at Olympic Plaza. We are still receiving reports from people who said that the 2018 March for Jesus was the most amazing event they had ever participated in, in their whole life in Christ. The Holy Spirit showed up and it was a beautiful time in the Lord for us all, with people from many different nations and economic backgrounds, glorifying the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
We look forward to working with you to make the 2019 March for Jesus equally beautiful and, if God is willing, even more, beautiful than last year. We are asking God to help us to refine anything that needs improving naturally, but we are asking, once again, for God to make this event a work of God, and not merely a work of men.
Please share this event notification with all your friends and family both on facebook and you through e-mail. You can e-mail them and ask them to click “like” on the facebook March for Jesus page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/March-for-Jesus/330986356217).
We are looking to start to put our volunteer list together and to have funds in place to run the upcoming March for Jesus seamlessly. We believe that we are to do our best and let God do the rest.
June 16, 2019 – 1 pm – 8 pm The march starts at Millennium Square and goes to Olympic Plaza where we will praise, worship and exalt Jesus Christ.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
We desperately need Gods intervention in this country! We need to turn away from our sins and be humble before the Living God! We need to unite and pray, worship the very One that has the power to change the hearts of men! We need to Cry in repentance for the sins of this nation! There is no better place to do this than the heart of the city, the City Hall!
This is our opportunity to take back our public square! We are the Children of the Living, Almighty God! We are the followers of the Lion from the tribe of Judah! We have the same promise that Joshua received from God! Will you possess the Promised Land with us? Will you obey and believe the Word of God? I hope and pray that you will, in Jesus Christ name! This is our Time to stand up and shine for Jesus!
“I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.”Joshua 1:3
Come to the Calgary City Hall for this time of Worship and Prayer!
During the event, we will celebrate our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and we will pray for our city and for our country! Come and worship with us! Drinks (coffee, tea) and snacks will be provided. We will have a break between the worship, so we can talk and get to know each other.
The event is free, but during the celebration, we will be raising funds for homeless people living in our city! What a perfect opportunity to come and join like-minded people who love the Only One True Living God! The doors will be open at 5 pm. Come early, because the sits are limited. We are planning four mission trips in the near future. The first one is in December to Belize, a country on the eastern coast of Central America. The second one to England in February for a conference and the opening of another Street Church Ministry. God is opening more and more doors in Europe. The third one will be in May to Kenya, Africa. In Kenya, we have already established Churches, an orphanage and a medical clinic! The fourth one to Poland. We have established over 30 Marches for Jesus and about 20 Street Churches in that country! We also organize there, something that we call “Jesus Week”. A seven days (12 hours a day) preaching, testifying, worshipping and evangelizing in the heart of the cities. The fire is being spread in Jesus Christ name!!!
All of the trips are charity missions with an emphasis on organizing a nationwide March for Jesus in their capital cities.
During our trips, we will visit orphanages, local Churches and we will Open Air Preach. We will meet local leaders, media and political personalities. We will, by the grace of God, mobilize as many believers as possible to participate in this amazing Harvest and Celebrations of our Faith in the Name of Jesus Christ!
God is presenting us with great opportunities to spread the Love and the Truth of God into the hearts of many people living in very difficult circumstances. As Africa and Central America are struck by unbelievable physical poverty and England and Poland devastating spiritual poverty, we will do our best to bring Hope, the Word of encouragement and Freedom in the name of Jesus Christ to these troubled country’s.
Of course, we cannot do this alone. We need your help and we want to give you this opportunity to become our partners in this endeavor! Please pray for us and support the mission field with the seed that the Lord has blessed you with. Everything counts. Nothing is too small. Over there five dollars means food for a whole family for several days. You can be a blessing to so many people. The Bible says that a gift opens a man’s heart. We hope to have many gifts so many hearts can be open to receive the Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ. God is Love and that Love wants to manifest through you in action! Become part of that sowing and the harvesting! How else can we practically impact so many people living in a country where for the most part people have little to no access to internet and TV (for example in the country of Belize).
The first trip will be to Belize, a very small country. Its mainland is about 290 km (180 mi) long and 110 km (68 mi) wide (size of Calgary and Edmonton combined) and a population of 387,879 (2017).
Imagine an entire country marching for Jesus! What a celebration that would be! We have faith to go and to organize this and we hope that you have faith to send us there and help us to pull this off!
We will take with us toys for the orphans, medical supply’s, banners, magnets with the Word of God and anything else that we will be able to get here in Canada.
Please help us so we can help those that cannot help themselves for the Glory of our Heavenly Father. Here is the link to the GoGetFunding Page: https://gogetfunding.com/mission-trips-to-four-nations/

What a fantastic day that was!!! We Marched for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on the streets of Calgary. We preached the Gospel, prophesied to the dry bones, prayed and declared the will of the Living God in our country! The weather was great, the sun was shining, the gentle breeze was cooling us down, and the atmosphere was electrifying! You could tangibly feel the presence of Heaven! God with his Hosts was marching with us!
The joy was contagious! We were dancing, singing and jumping with true happiness in our hearts. Some were saved, some strengthened and some fired up once again!
That’s what public proclamation of the name of Jesus does, raises the dead and fires up the lukewarm! Worthy is the Lord to be praised and worshiped.
People were prayed for and some were anointed with oil. Children had a blast at the water park, with dancing, and the bouncy house! This is what it is all about, real family spending a good time together!
Great BBQ with fantastic African style rice sealed the day of joy. Hundreds of poor from our city were also fed showing the real and tangible love of our God.
Thank you, lovers of Christ, for coming and spending this day with all of us! You are the true worshipers of God! You have chosen the Spirit over the flesh! Thank You! May the Lord greatly reward you!
What an amazing privilege it was to be able to honor our Heavenly Father by publicly honoring His Son!
Jesus all for Jesus!
Friend, brothers, and sisters! Are you ready!!!
We are putting together a schedule for this summer and we have a number of very exciting events planned for this year, 2018. Become part of the Gods Kingdom and His Harvest! Put your hands to the plow and do not look back! The Bible says that great is the reward for those that are willing to obey the Commandments of the Living God and We all know that God says: GO! DO! BE!
If you have been looking to become involved in something real and tangible for the Lord, here is your opportunity!
Again, we have been invited to minister at a number of Native Reserves. We will have special dinners prepared for them (500 to 700 people) with music, preaching, and testimonies! Last time God healed people, we were able to pray for the Chiefs and Elders and few dozen Natives received Christ as their Lord and Saviour! Praise God!!!
Marches for Jesus! We are privileged to be part of organizing and assisting many Marches for Jesus in a number of cities and countries. In Canada, we are planning to have few. There is no greater joy than to lift the Name of Jesus in public and to bring someone to our Heavenly Father! In Calgary, the March for Jesus is planned for June 17 at 1 pm. The march in Calgary starts at Millennium Square 1pm and goes to Olympic Plaza where we will praise, worship, pray and exalt Jesus Christ to the glory of the Heavenly Father, and where we will eat, (free BBQ for all) laugh and partake in God’s blessings.
City Hall prayers and worship time! For the past few years, we organize (every 4 months) meetings at Calgary City Hall. We pray, worship and declare the Will of Our Saviour Jesus Christ over our cities and countries! We just finished one in April. Next one is in September!
Feeding the poor and preaching the Gospel in public is happening now almost every day in over 30 cities in a number of different countries. Street Church is growing! More and more people are starting to follow the Biblical way to follow Christ instead of the denominational way of the hypocrites (stay/sit and listen only). We are a generation that has received a great privilege to be the Voice Crying in the Wilderness preparing the way for our Lords return! In Calgary, we go out four times a week with the message of Hope and with the food for the hungry! If you can help that would be wonderful. We need hamburgers, hot dogs, chickens etc. Many are facing difficult times. This is our moment to tell them that God cares! Street Church meetings in Calgary: Monday Outreach 6pm. Wednesday Lunch Church service 11am. Friday Night Evangelism 6pm. Sunday Church Service at the Gates of the City 1pm. All meetings are in front of Calgary’s City Hall.
Christian concerts are being organized this year. Some will be indoor, some in the parks. Music brings the presence of our God. When He comes, we change, atmosphere changes! God brings Holiness and Truth! With Him comes Freedom! Prince’s Island Park Calgary! The Park at the center of the city! We have rented a big stage for the whole day of worship and prayer! June 26, at noon! Come and lift your voices to the Living God!
We are starting our own TV Christian Channel! We realized how corrupted the mainstream media propaganda has become. We need to counter this and reach those that are not able to come but are willing to listen to the Truth!
We have also started a regular Church of Discipleship where we come to be challenged and to challenge others. No political correctness, no compromise, no retreat! Here, at this Church, we are God pleasers, not man pleasers! The Fortress (Cave) of Adullam, every Saturday 9:45 am! Time of worship, testimonies, preaching, and lunch afterward. The address is unit #217 1829 54th Street SE, Calgary second floor.
Those are just a few highlights. Please become part of what God is doing! Do not sit on the fence! Fence belongs to the devil. Jump and become the hands and the feet of Jesus Christ! The Time is Now!
“Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.” John 14:21
Be blessed! Sow in the Kingdom of God and become part of the Harvest!

For those of you who have already indicated that you are going to the March for Jesus in Edmonton this year, please like share and promote the march every where you can. The more that people take on the challenge to be an ambassador for the Lord and a messenger of the King for this event, the more that the family of God can gather, worship, pray and praise in unity. Others display their “pride” in huge parades, all the while mocking and shaking their fist at God, how much more should we give glory to God for our Redeemer’s sacrifice for us.
Let’s make the 2017 March for Jesus in Edmonton (the 150 anniversary of Canada) a great event with a wonderful turnout! Alberta’s capital needs a strong presence of those who are not ashamed to raise the name above all names high for all to see, and to boldly proclaim Jesus as Lord to the Glory of the Heavenly Father.
Friends, brothers, and sisters! The March for Jesus 2017 in Calgary is going to be open by an ex-Muslim woman, Sandra Solomon. Bring you friends and family members to hear Sandra Solomons incredible story of slavery under Sharia Law and freedom that she has found in Jesus Christ! Because for God nothing is impossible!
Listen to what this lady has to tell you about the upcoming event!
The event will take place this Sunday on the 18 of June 2017 in Calgary. Come and be part of Gods revolution in your own city!
Sunday, June 18, 2017 – 1 pm – 8 pm The march starts at Millennium Square (1220 9 Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta T2G 0T1) and goes to Olympic Plaza where we will praise, worship and exalt Jesus Christ to the glory of the Heavenly Father, and where we will eat, laugh and partake in God’s blessings.

Men of God, Brothers and Sisters, Leaders in the community.
We are set to reclaim our city for Jesus. This is our time to stand up for this country and push the evil principalities back. This is the time for Gideon’s, for David’s, for Joshua’s and for Esther’s. This is our time! This is your Time! Let’s join our efforts together!
In just few days we will have such an opportunity during the March for Jesus, right here in our own city, Calgary.
The march, on June 19th 2016, will begin at Millennium Park at 2 pm. We will march all the way to Olympic Plaza where we will be barbequing food for all to enjoy, freely. Prior to the march, between 1 and 2 pm, we will begin with prayer and worship to prepare the way for the Living God. The march will be followed by a celebration of worship and prayer.
For years people have been speaking about and praying for revival. Christians have been asking the Lord to give us this city and for Him to prepare a great harvest of souls. The time has come for all of us to stand up and take back all that God has prepared for us.
The March for Jesus 2016 is dedicated to raising the name of Jesus for all to see. During this march, we will boldly, without shame, proclaim Jesus Christ over our cities. The King… The Lord… The Saviour… The Way… The Truth… The Life… for all the earth.
Take a moment… envision it… set aside past defeats, previous divisions and disappointments. Jesus Christ is the unifier. He is the only one who can lay to rest the differences between men. When we set aside our own ambition, and when we return to the simplicity of the Gospel, therein lies oneness in our Lord. At the end of the day, it’s all about Him… one Jesus, no denominations, no names of churches, no divisions, just one body of Christ. Together! One voice! One mind! One heart!
Once again, it is time for we, who are called by His name, to pick up the gauntlet and march and proclaim that Jesus Christ is in fact the unchangeable God.
We ask you to come and participate in what many that attended the Marches for Jesus called “the best day they had with the Lord in their life”.
We say if God is for us who can be against us. By lifting the name of Jesus, the sky is the limit. Come… come for the sake of the future generation. Come… this nation needs you! This city needs you, because inside every believer in Christ dwells the Holy Spirit who is looking for a man who will say “Here am I Lord, send me!”
The enemies of the cross and righteousness are marching. Boldly proclaiming and manifesting for what they believe in. They are not ashamed of their gods bringing perversion and lies to the streets of our cities. Are we, are you, ashamed of The Almighty Living God of Heaven and the Earth, Jesus Christ? I hope not! We have nothing to be ashamed of. If we will not take our city for the Lord, then the enemy surely will.
Our cities will walk for God…..We are going for the Promised Land. Will you take it with us?

We have amazing news!
We have been invited by Robert Schwartz the founder of Devotions Winnipeg to speak at the upcoming conference that is going to be hosted on the 9th of January 2016 in Winnipeg.
“As we join together”, Robert writes in his invitation to Pastor Artur Pawlowski (Organizer of Marches for Jesus and founder of Street Church), “We can walk as the disciples did in bringing more people closer to Christ.” Then he continues with this amazing statement: “We can also announce that the March for Jesus is coming to Winnipeg!”
“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.” Revelation 11:17
During “Devotions Winnipeg Conference 2016” there will also be three very inspirational speakers, Pastor Mike Zachman, Pastor Scott Willis and Pastor James Rowson. Pastor Artur Pawlowski has been invited as a special guest to speak and inspire believers to become visible, vocal in their faith and to take over for Christ, every aspect of society. Pawlowski believes that the public square belongs to those who are not afraid and are truly willing to be the salt and the light in this world. Marches for Jesus and evangelism on the streets are a big part of taking over the enemy’s territories. We should have more of those kind of activities not less. Thats why I am thrilled about the March for Jesus finally coming to Winnipeg! Concludes Pawlowski.
The conference will also have wonderful musical artist such as “The Color” from Manitoba , and The NEWSBOYS!!!!
Here is more information about the “Devotions Winnipeg Conference 2016” :http://www.devotionswinnipeg.com/
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
We hope to see you there!
On October 10 Christians in Calgary will hold a prayer vigil for people around the world who are persecuted for their faith.
The Vigil on Saturday, October 10, will start at 12:00 pm at Calgary’s City Hall Plaza (800 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2P).
Persecution of Christians and people of other faiths is happening around the world every day. The International Day of Prayer website estimates that 200 million Christians around the world are persecuted for their faith. It says another 350 million face discrimination and restrictions.
On October 10 Christians in Calgary will hold a prayer vigil for people around the world who are persecuted for their faith. This is our opportunity to stand in the gap for our persecuted brothers and sisters and call upon the Lord in faith for their needs and their freedom.
There will be speeches given by politicians and leaders. Along with that we will be joining together in worship and prayer.
Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. (Hebrews 13:3 NASB)
Persecuting the Followers of Jesus is hurting the Lord Jesus!

OCT 10 special rally “Stand with Jesse Rau the Calgary bus driver that lost his job for standing for his faith”.
Fearing for his job, after having his facebook wall monitored by his employer, the Calgary Transit, Jesse Rau came out publicly in the media to plead for his right to abstain from promoting the homosexual parade, which goes directly against his Christian beliefs.
“I was shocked when my supervisor called me in to chastise me about my personal facebook posts and to inform me that if I wanted to have a good career with the Calgary Transit, that I should stop posting my personal opinions on facebook. I never would have imagined that I was not free to express my personal opinions about the changes going on our society in my private time. Nor would I have imagined that my job would be on the line because of it. Then when my employer went against their own policy that states that no idealogies are to be promoted through their organization, and indicated that bus drivers would be expected to drive the “Pride Bus” and promote the homosexual parade, that’s when I decided to appeal to the public about what the City Transit is doing to its employees and so I took it to the media,” stated Rau.
Unfortunately, Mr. Rau was right about his fears relating to his job. The Calgary Transit has now demonstrated that they do not respect their employees’ guaranteed fundamental freedoms. But rather that transit employees should fear being coerced by Calgary Transit through surveillance, and pressure relating to job loss, into embracing whatever they demand.
“Today I was fired and they cited two things. None of their concerns related to my work. On the contrary, prior to this issue, I was told that, due to my good work performance, I was supervisor material. To go from awaiting promotion to facing joblessness simply for standing for my Christian faith in a supposedly free country is horrible.”
Jesse Rau was fired after being grilled for five hours, during a special meeting, that felt to him more like an interrogation, being asked questions unrelated to work duties, but rather relating to his personal beliefs and even the opinions of other people who commented on his facebook wall. The City indicated that sharing his views and concerns in the media and on social networks is not permitted. It seems clear that if his views aligned to their position on homosexuality and particularly the “pride” event, that they would never have blinked let alone interrogated and fired him.
We are raising awareness and are calling a press conference tomorrow which will held outside at 1740 – 25a Street SW at 2:30 PM. For more information please call 403-607-4434 or e-mail art@streetchurch.ca.
Everyone that wants to stand in solidarity with Jesse Rau and his family is welcome to join a special rally which will be held at City Hall on October 10, 2015 at 12:30 PM. Anyone interested in helping Jesse Rau with expenses related to job loss and hiring a lawyer can contact Jesse’s pastor Artur Pawlowski who will be working with Jesse on this issue. Alternatively people wanting to hand their financial support to Jesse personally can do so at the October rally.
“I will leave you with this thought, yesterday they were coming for the politicians, judges, and doctors today they are coming for the bus drivers, clerks and bakers. Believe me, I grew up in a country like ours has become, and I can tell you tomorrow the communists/fascists/dictators are coming for you. Will you let them?” stated Jesse Rau’s pastor Artur Pawlowski.

Over seventy individual meetings, five church services, a dozen media recordings and a conference were all a result of artur pawlowski’s 10-day journey to poland in march 2015. Artur, a prime mover of marches for Jesus and street churches invited people in Poland to get engaged in public and brave manifestations of their faith in Jesus Christ!
This street preacher from Canada during his public appearances confronts, challenges and asks: “Do you live for God or for yourself? What is a driving force of your actions? What did your week look like? Was it filled with your things only, your job, family, with God put aside somewhere, as an extra, or the driving force of your everyday life was the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ? Show me your everyday priorities and i’ll show you where your heart is” Pawlowski made his listeners stop and reflect.
“What is really important on earth? Is God everything for you or only a part of your life? How much is a human soul worth to you? Do you wish that Jesus Christ would set you on fire again, filled you with passion, set you ablaze for His kingdom? Our priority should be to fight for human souls, it shouldn’t be something extra”. At his every meeting Pawlowski provoked his audience to make a decision, to leave their comfort zone and step out of church pews.
Reactions were astonishing. Over 90% of people answered positively to these addresses to serve God with all their heart and all their life. People cried, prayed and asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit again. It could be sensed that in Poland there is a new spiritual opening and many are hungry for new possibilities, new blessings and are ready to serve Him in a new, broader way.
These couple of days were very intense and tiring, but spiritually very fruitful. Several new initiatives were started, such as: “Practical Faith”, idea of organizing marches for Jesus in two towns and in Slovakia. More and more people understand this great idea, the importance of such initiatives and are ignited to manifest their faith in public.

“Hail to the King!” From 1 pm till 8 pm on the 30th of May, 2015
In the past few years by the grace of God we are allowed to organize concerts in parks in Calgary. One of the amazing places we can put our worship and praise to our God is in the heart of Prince’s Island Park “Enmax Stage” (698 Eau Claire Avenue Southwest, Calgary, AB).
Think about what a great opportunity this is to come together in unity and present ourselves to the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth in such a public form. For the whole day we can sing, pray and declare Jesus’ will over our lives and over our city and country. From 1 pm till 8 pm on the 30th of May, 2015 we can prophesy God’s life to those naked bones. We can preach the Gospel to those that maybe would never come to our buildings. We can plead for the lives of the lost with the one that holds everything in the palm of His hands.
This is our city! Will you come and fight for it in Jesus’ name?
Please call us at 403-607-4434 or email us at art@streetchurch.ca
If you are in leadership in the Calgary area, whether you are official clergy, you are simply leading a small group, you are involved in discipleship, or merely consider yourself an ambassador for the Kingdom of God you, like the rest of us, are probably in need of encouragement, prayer and perhaps even a little inspiration.
The Calgary Ambassadors Ministerial has begun holding meetings once a month in the North. Here are the details for our next ministerial meeting:

Today we took part in birthing a new group that will meet monthly with a focus on effecting change in our City, in Calgary, for the Kingdom of God. Many in leadership positions in the body of Christ have been yearning for a Christ centred non-denominational group committed to being active together in reaching our city through regular public proclamations of the gospel.
During our first meeting we discussed the name of the new group, the location, and the times that the group will meet. The name of the Group is Ambassadors for Christ. The group will meet the third Saturday of the month every month at 10 am at Thorncliff Community Centre in NW Calgary. As a group we have committed to working on three events per year that we will all put our promotional and organizational efforts behind.
We invite you to join us in unity and encouraging one another in Christ as we stretch out our hands, call out with our voice, and extend our hearts to this broken city, in this season where so many are in desperate need of the saving message of the gospel.

Brothers and sisters:
We have found favour in Calgary with some of the city’s departments.

The March for Jesus brings Christians of every tradition, age, and race into the streets to celebrate what Jesus has done and to ask God’s blessing on our city. It is nothing more and nothing less than a joyous celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ. (www.marchforjesus.ca)
Please join us in this amazing celebration.
Here is the proposed artillery for the day:
Every half hour different worship teams with soloists and/or choir.
In between we will have prayer warriors and/or Gospel preachers.
Imagine being able to spend with your brothers and sisters an entire day giving Glory to the one and only God, Jesus Christ. Not only to worship Him, but to be able to do it in public.
Praise God!
We hope that you will seize this opportunity and take back our city for the Lord!

Bless you in Jesus name!
When I recorded two first episodes of Na Poddaszu (In the Attic) series with Artur Pawlowski, I didn’t expect that in some time I would travel with him in a devastated Volkswagen and talk for hours about spiritual revival, Poland and radical serving God.
When I talked to my Christian friends about my dreams, their faces often shown astonishment. I even had an impression that many of them simply doubted my common sense. However, as I talk to Artur, it is me who makes “big eyes” and listens with innocent disbelief about upcoming “levy in mass.” It wasn’t different this time. Going from Warsaw to Poznan to prepare for the first March for Jesus in the city’s history, I listened to a story of a man who abandoned everything for God. He was a wealthy businessman, a developer and an owner of a magazine. He made business with politicians and mobsters in one of the richest cities of North America. Today he helps, loves and feeds people whom he once despised. And ministry he founded reaches with the power of the gospel to the homeless and most needy. He does it disregarding of the resistance of corrupted politicians and disdain of full time spiritual ministers of glass churches. He paid a great price for his beliefs and attachment to the basic Christian values such as: holiness, life and family. Hated by liberal media, repeatedly arrested, judged, considering no circumstances he still goes forward.
Staring at the road, Artur was convincing me that the time for revival in Poland has come. That we should forget about divisions and focus on the Kingdom of God. That Christianity is not about sitting in chairs. Our churches are full of theorists. We research the Bible in Greek, learn hebraisms, memorize dozens of scriptures, and still lack fruit. There is a simple recipe to end this torpor. It is faith working in love. Working means going out to a person. It is active, not egoistic. Motivated by love, it doesn’t seek its own, doesn’t take offence, neither causes divisions. During March for Jesus we can practice it. We don’t think about which denomination has the monopole for the truth but we march in unity for the glory of our God to let the world see that there are still people out there for whom He is the most important.
Our green Transporter slowly neared Poznan. There was a brainstorm and last preparations before the next day’s march. I was sitting fastened to a creaky seat and thought about the meaning of what we do. Again, I was overwhelmed with the conviction that the words of Jesus in which He calls us “the light of the world” reflect the sense of our mission the best. If the lightness yields, the darkness will take its place. That’s why we can’t hide and be quiet as a mouse in the church and allow our country to immerse in gloom. We have to go and shine, and March for Jesus creates a great opportunity for it.

March for Jesus in Poznan few days later.
Artur Pawlowski is speaking about persecution, free speech and homosexual agenda in Canada.
The March for Jesus, a prominent event gathering about 1000 people, took place in Gdansk, closing the Jesus Week in this city. People wearing T-shirts with evangelical messages and national symbols paraded the main streets of Gdansk.
The idea of the March is to proclaim to the nation who Jesus Christ really is. “We aren’t marching to protest against something or someone. We are here because we are grateful to God and we want to rejoice and bless people” – said one of the organizers. “We live in a religious country, where everybody has heard about Jesus as a historical person, but they don’t know Him as a Savior, who can offer them life. We are wearing national symbols, because the participants are declaring that they want Jesus to be the Lord of Poland. If He isn’t Lord, someone or something else will take His place. It’s not about enthroning Jesus to be our king in the political sense, but about spiritually committing our country to God’s rule. Just like Daniel, who confessed sins on behalf of all Israel (Daniel 9), we want to invite God on behalf of the whole nation to hold the course and destiny of our country in His hand. This is the only remedy for our problems with addictions, corruption, dishonesty, confusion, broken relationships and low self-esteem of most Polish people”.
The March opened with a prayer giving thanks to God for the governing authorities in Poland – the President, Prime Minister, Parliament and Senate. We prayed for God’s blessing in line with the teaching of the Bible: “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, or kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (…) I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (1 Timothy 2:1-8).
The route of the March included strategic points in the city: The Town Hall, The Marshal’s Office, The Gdansk Shipyard, the office of Lech Walesa in the Old Town. At each of these points the participants of the March stopped to pray for wisdom and blessing for the people working for these institutions. At the head of the March there was a flat bed truck carrying a worship team and the host of the event.
Artur Pawlowski shared how the ancient nation of Israel joyfully celebrated their God at important historical sites (1 Chronicles 13:8). He encouraged the participants of the March to do very same thing in front of the Gdansk Shipyard, which is an important place in the history of Poland. Everybody started dancing to the sounds of Jewish melodies, rejoicing in the Lord. It was a beautiful expression of the triumph of God’s reality.
The residents of the city, who observed what was happening, taking photos and filming the parade, could hear the news that Jesus Christ is interested in their life. At the same time many talented musicians played joyful music, proclaiming Christ’s victory over sin. The participants of the March greeted the people in the streets, sometimes stepping out of the parade to bless the onlookers. Most people responded by waving their hands and smiling.
Going down the main walkway of the Old Town – Dluga Street was a very special moment. Thousands of people stood on both sides watching the March pass by, while the worship team played such songs as: “Bless the Lord Oh My Soul”. It was a moment of profound symbolism.
At the end of Dluga Street, by the Green Gate, a big stage was set up, where the final events of both the March for Jesus and the whole Jesus Week took place. The Ahead of Us band started with an exciting performance. Then pastors from 25 churches from Gdansk summed up the Jesus Week. After that we could see the star of the afternoon – Grzegorz Kloc with his band. Grzegorz is an artist known from public radio and television. He played this concert to God’s great glory. We found out that he isn’t only a talented musician, but also a gifted preacher. He played music and talked about the depths of the human heart. People listened, worshiped, cried and danced. It was a wonderful worship service right in the centre of the city. One of the most touching moments was when three homeless men became convicted of the state they’re in. They asked for prayer. They confessed their sins. They kissed the Bibles they have received.
During worship many people responded to the call and came forward to receive prayer. Among them was an elderly couple. The man was in a wheelchair. He asked for prayer about the strong pain in his knees. Both were believers and enthusiastic about God. The lady said that she had cancer but she overcame it. The doctors said they can find only one explanation of her recovery. “God saved you!”. After a brief prayer the pain in the gentleman’s knees receded. Everyone rejoiced in God’s goodness.
On my way back I heard two young men criticizing the March for Jesus.
– Why are you so critical? There is a deep significance to this event – I said.
– Yeah? What kind of significance?
– It speaks about the One who can change lives, about Jesus Christ. I participated once in a prayer when a person who was blind in one eye regained eyesight. He was blind because his mom was drunk when he was conceived and she was drunk when he was delivered. That’s the God we proclaim.
– Wow, that’s powerful.
– I’d like to pray for you. – I laid my hand on his shoulder and spoke words of blessing.
– Thanks for talking to us. – He was clearly touched.
“The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few” (Luke 10:2). We need disciples in our churches, who will reach out to people to tell them about the Good News and show them what it is really about.

The festival tent is set up in the middle of a clearing in the the Ronald Reagan Park. Curiosity drew passers-by inside. There are groups playing and people speaking. Yesterday it was the Holyguns band. Today it’s the group Ahead of Us. Both are musical treats. They sing their own lyrics, flowing straight from their hearts. The musicians are genuine and encompassed in the reality of God. Their passion is contagious. During the concert there is also opportunity to listen to testimonies and see some skits, illustrating what Jesus Christ has done for men. It’s all deeply moving.
People strolling in the park are wearing nice clothes and riding expensive bikes. It seems as if they had everything together in their lives. They are smiling. But when they listen to the words of anointed songs, testimonies and to the Word of God, they start to reflect on life. They come up to us and ask for prayer. We find out that most of these people are like biblical sheep without a shepherd. They have their fair share of misery in life, they are overwhelmed, afraid, they don’t know how to handle their problems and they don’t know where they could look for help. We pray together. We can see the Spirit moving. Three people give their lives to Christ. We believe that in the spiritual realm this act opens their life up to God and is the starting point for changes in their lives (Revelation 3:20). Three people that we have prayed for a few days ago come up to us and tell us about what has already changed. We give glory to God.
An elderly gentleman: Please pray for my wife, she is in hospital. She is very ill.
Danka: When I was younger, I was close to God. Then I started living my own way. Life hasn’t treated me well. I’d like to come back to God, but I don’t know how. Please pray for me.
Elderly lady: My husband’s got cancer. My son’s got cancer. My son-in-law’s got cancer. My results aren’t good either. I was afraid to ask for prayer, but now I’ve got hope again.
Guy and a girl: Please pray for God’s blessing for us.
Young woman: My back’s broken. It’s really bad. I’m in serious pain. I’ve also got thyroid problems. (After a brief prayer the pain recedes and the woman makes some moves she was not able to do before. We give glory to God).
Young man: Because of what I have seen here, I started praying for people again and I can see God moving. I’m happy again.
Girl: I’m a believer, but I suffer depression. Please pray for me.
Mrs. Maria: I’ve had some problems with my throat for many months now. Antibiotics aren’t working. Please pray for me. (After a short prayer the pain stops).
Mrs. Lucyna: My husband decided to trust this person and he got himself into debts. That has really affected our relationship. Please pray for our marriage.
Many, many more people asked for prayer.
We tell every person about who Jesus Christ is, why He came into this world and what He wanst to offer us. We give them a Bible. We give them some guidelines about living with God and we invite them to church.
It seems that spiritually this was the most profound day of the week so far. The myth about Polish people not being open to the gospel was officially busted. People are cautious in fear of being hurt by others, but they are open to Jesus Christ. He gives them a sense of security and it is obvious He is present in this place today.

Another day of the Park Festival in Gdansk Przymorze. The weather is good, so a lot of people show up. Some passers-by and cyclists join the fun.
During the festival we hear the concert of an excellent group from Gdansk called Holyguns. They will present music from their latest album ‘Psalmocentric’. Jacek Sliwa, the author of the music and lyrics, shares the fascinating story of how he met God. The response is great.
While girls paint kids faces and the crowd listens to the music, some people come up to a special stand where they can ask for prayer. It’s a very touching experience as this demonstrates that the people trust us and feel secure here. We believe that it is the Holy Spirit who touches them and convinces them to approach us.
– I’m telling you things I should only tell a priest in a confessional, but I don’t feel uncomfortable – says one lady.
– I’m glad I can talk to you – someone adds.
– God is wonderful! – exclaims one elderly gentleman.
– Beautiful initiative! – a lady says.
One girl, who just happened to come to the concert, gives her life to Christ after a lengthy conversation. This is definitely the highlight of the day. Marcel Ploszy?ski – the host of the „In the Attic” TV program, Pawel Bukala from the Warsaw Street Church and Artur Pawlowski from the Street Church in Calgary also drop by.
The Park Festival combines the idea of a family picnic with a social gathering and worship meeting. Organisers mention something about doing such meetings on a regular basis throughout the Summer. It’s really worth considering, as it turns out that outdoor church services are in every respect more fruitful than meeting inside a beautiful building with the same old group of people.

Today we went to Gdynia, to visit Piotr Stepniak’s ministry team – a group called God’s Gang of Ex-Bandits. Three men, each one with an impressive rap sheet, spoke about what Jesus Christ has done in their lives. They shared stories, preached the Word of God, sang songs. For many years everybody who tried to help them failed – the police, councellors, psychologists. But Jesus gave them the help they needed, speaking into their hearts and winning them for Himself. Their testimonies were very honest and touching.
Then we caught up with the Hiking Camp Mission. Yesterday they set up camp in a poor district of Gdansk. Today, they were ministering in a wealthy part of Sopot, close to the pier and the Sheraton Hotel.
The worship team started playing. People began to gather. There weren’t many. At some point pastor Jerzy Przeradowski started gently sharing about the invitation Jesus is giving every one of us. We didn’t know if anyone would respond, as people come to that part of town to have a good time, not to do soul-searching. When the pastor finished speaking, there was an applause and six people gave their hearts to Jesus, repeating the sinner’s prayer.
After that the team encouraged people who’ve got problems with osteoporosis, rheumathism, cancer, eye problems, headaches and back problems to come forward. A lot of passers-by responded to the invitation. Pastor Przeradowski explained what and why is about to happen. He spoke about the power and the love of God, who heals people and cares for them. Young people from the camp started praying and things began to happen. One after another, people raised their hands as a sign that they’ve been healed.
– What have you experienced? – the pastor asked.
– I had a backache and it just stopped – answered a woman.
– How did that happen?
– This girl laid her hand on me, prayed and the pain stopped.
– How is that possible?
– I don’t know.
– What happened is that Jesus healed you, because He loves you. He wants you to give your life to Him. He desires you to be happy.
* * *
– What happened to you, sir? – the pastor asked.
– This guy laid his hand on me and prayed. I felt something like an electric current run through me and the pain stopped.
– How is that possible?
– I don’t know. He’s got some kind of power.
– Actually, it was Jesus Christ who touched you and healed you, to show you that He has got power and authority. You can come to Him right now and give your life to Him and He will not stop leading you for the rest of your life. Would you like that?
Many people got healed that afternoon. Glory to the Highest God!

Today we visited the Hiking Camp Mission, which set up camp in the playground of a primary school in a poor district of Gdansk. What we have witnessed there made our hearts jump for joy.
The Hiking Camp Mission is a collection of young people from all over Poland, who pay their own way, coming to one meeting place from which they set out and travel to many villages, towns and cities, boldly proclaiming the gospel and serving the local communities. Real things happen during that time. This has been taking place for 20 years now. The Camp is headed by pastor Jerzy Przeradowski from Kutno.
For many hours young people spread out in the neighborhood, inviting people to an afternoon meeting. Girls painted kids faces. The kids got some free balloons, so there was no space for boredom. During worship children danced with flags, naturally and with great joy.
Jerzy Przeradowski, like no other, is able to understand the mentality and emotional needs of the people of Poland. He knows how to address them. He doesn’t speak in a heated way, he shows no exaltation. His sharing is peaceful, warm, full of genuine caring and love for the people. That’s why so many come to him. He speaks about God, about His love and salvation in such a natural way that everybody accepts his words as a real piece of good news.
After a question abou health issues, 20 out of 200 participants came forward to receive prayer. The young people also prayed in a peaceful and considerate manner. Finally, the youth presented a touching skit about God’s redemption for people. That evening was a true spiritual feast.

The highlight of the day was the New Life M concert in Sopot. The streets around the location were full of volunteers wearing red T-shirts which said “I’m not ashamed of Jesus”, inviting passers-by to the concert and telling them about Jesus.
Artur Pawlowski spoke from the stage, sharing the testimony of his life. After the testimony he made a call to the onlookers to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. About 20 people came forward. Sopot has been a holiday resort and entertainment center for decades, and one might think that this is no place to look for God. This event, however, proves that everywhere we can find people who have a desire deep inside to find peace in God’s presence.
The musicians performing this day are experienced artists. The played music, sang, told their stories. One might have expected to hear them boast of their achievements, but that wasn’t what they actually shared. They spoke about Jesus Christ. Piotr Jankowski, renown Polih jazz drummer, shared a most touching story about how he first met the Lord.
Around the stage a lot of people talked and prayed together. You could come across faces from popular Christian programs. It was an opportunity to get to know each other and establish new relationships. It was good to be there.

Today we went to minister outside. The location was beautiful – the Ronald Reagan Park in Gdansk-Przymorze. I worked together with people from a church called The Way of the Lord. Good for me – they turned out to be very friendly, warm and helpful people, with hearts on fire for God.
At first the weather wasn’t the best. It was raining and we held a meeting hiding under a tree. God had listened to our prayers – it stopped raining after a while and we could leave our shelter. We had a time of worship, testimonies and prayers. Many people passing by took a while to see what’s happening and listen. Seven asked for prayer. In four cases the condition of the people prayed for instantly improved. It was a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship.
More meetings like that took place simultaneously at different locations in the Tri-City. I am sure they have also experienced great things. I’ll give you and update as soon as I learn more.

For the first time ever in Poland we had a great privilege to organize a “Jesus Week”. A week (exactly eight days) of over a hundred evangelistic events including worship bands, people sharing their testimonies and preaching the gospel. About twenty five churches took part in this amazing harvest.
The end result: thousands of people had heard the gospel and hundreds were healed. We are going to bring you some of the stories and show you what happened there, day by day.
Enjoy the reports and be blessed.
Jesus Week – Day One
Saturday, June/28/2014
The long awaited Jesus Week has been inaugurated on Saturday in the European Council Park in Gdynia, Poland. This is truly a tremendous event, not only because of the fact that the Gospel is being proclaimed in the streets of the city, but even more because it marks victory over divisions among Christian brothers. The Jesus Week has been organized by 25 different evangelical congregations from the Tri-City area, demonstrating their determination to become one, not only in terms of logistics, but also as citizens of the Kingdom of God.
The first meeting was attended by around 2,500 people. Many of the participants arrived carrying in their hearts a deep longing for the presence of God in their lives. This longing was reflected in the numbers of people who came forward when pastor Artur Pawlowski gave a passionate appeal for people to give their hearts to God.
The highlight of the evening was the concert of a well known Polish rock-gospel choir TGD. The concert was excellent both in terms of artistic performance and spiritual appeal. The audience was impressed with the word shared by Piotr Plecha, bass guitarist of TGD and former member of legendary rock band Budka Suflera.
Sunday is going to be the first day of workshops, tent ministry, one-on-one meetings and public services in many locations in the three cities. Jadlodajnia will be stationed from Sunday through Thursday in Reagan’s Park in Gdansk.
May Jesus be glorified!

Gdansk
A Week for Jesus, one of the biggest Christian events of this Summer will start in the Council of Europe Park in Gdynia on the 28th of June with a concert of the popular gospel choir TGD. Through July 5-th, there will be an opportunity to participate in meetings with interesting people, workshops and concerts of popular Christian musicians, such as New Life M or Grzegorz Kloc. The last day of the festival will see a joyful March of Jesus, parading the streets of Gdansk.
Among the organizers of the first edition of the Jesus Week are representatives of many Christian denominations. The common vision of this Summer evangelistic event, full of cultural attractions, is under the patronage of Member of Parliament John Abraham Godson. The festival will open with a special concert of the TGD choir, directed by Piotr Nazaruk. TGD (in Polish: The Third Hour of The Day) is one of the oldest and most popular Polish pop-gospel groups. The band also experiments with other styles of music, boldly drawing on hip-hop, contemporary praise and worship, and sometimes even elements of traditional Polish folk songs.
On the last day of June, the New Life M band will play a concert on the Sopot pier. The band combines pop, soul, blues, funk and jazz music to create mature artistic forms. The members of the group, Joachim Mencel and Piotr Jankowski are prominent Polish insturmentalists. We can contribute the impressive jazz accents in the bands music to their influence. The group owes its recognition and popularity to pieces composed by the pianist, Joachim Mencel, with lyrics written by his wife Beata, such as „Twoja milosc” (Your Love), „Z calej duszy” (With All My Soul) or „Zakochalam sie na 100%” (100% Sure I’m In Love). The first lead singer of the band was Mietek Szczesniak, later replaced by Natalia Niemen, who in turn was suceeded by Basia Wlodarska. At the moment the lead voice of the group is Agnieszka Musial.
The Jesus Week will be conluded with a concert of the well known group Sixteen, headed by Grzegoc Kloc. The artist has been playing Christian music for many years, combining different styles of music, such as pop, rock and praise&worship. At the end of May this year Grzegorz released the video clip of his new song “Return of Lasarus”. The song quickly reached first place in video clip popularity ranking on the interia.pl website. During the festival we will also have the opportunity to see Tomasz Zóltko (best known for his hit song “Kochaj mnie I dotykaj” (Love Me, Touch Me), Przed Nami, Adam Sawicki, CorTuum, Holy Guns and others.
More than concerts
During the Jesus Week there will also be many meetings with interesting guests. The Head of the Supervisory Board of KOPEX S.A., billionaire Krzysztof Jedrzejewski will come to the Tri-City to speak about applying Christian ethics in the marketplace. A very special guest of the Festival will be Artur Pawlowski – founder of the Canadian mission ministry called Street Church. The ministry distributes 200,000 meals to the homeless of Calgary every year. It also works as an evangelistic outreach, going into the darkest parts of the city with the Good News. Artur Pawlowski has been arrested and sued by the city authorities a number of times for the work he is doing. However, he won every case, claiming his constitutional rights. He is a frequent guest on TV, sharing about social issues and freedom of speech. Artur Pawlowski is also the organiser of Marches for Jesus, among other in Poland and Canada. Almost 5,000 people, including representatives of the biggest Christian churches, participated in this year’s March for Jesus in Warsaw.
March for Jesus
The Tri-City March for Jesus will definitely be the headliner of the whole Festival. It will start on July 5th at 2pm in Okopowa Street in Gdansk. Believers from many denominations will march together to manifest their faith in the Savior. According to the organizers, the event is meant to show the local community that we need to clearly stand up for Christian values, in times of moral relativism, when values are taken so lightly, negated and mocked by liberal opinion leaders. – We want to show that living a life which meets Christian moral standards is full of joy, peace and love – says the head of the organizational committee of the Jesus Week, Jerzy Przeradowski. The final stop of the March will be in Dlugi Targ, where a special concert concluding the Jesus Week will take place by the Green Gate.
“A heartfelt welcome to all participants of the 2014 March for Jesus in Warsaw!”
“The event we are taking part in today is truly one of its kind. We have not come together to stand against anything or anyone, but to stand for something and someone. This march is for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Today, in this capital city, we can come together in unity and share the privilege of manifesting our faith in the one true God. We can show the world that we, the people of Poland, have nothing to be ashamed of and we will not keep hiding in the shadows. On the contrary, we will be like King David, we will dance and praise the Living God, bringing the Ark of Covenant, surrounded by people, into our capital city. A thousand years after David, we will be like him, dancing and singing to our God. We will dance to the popular song “When the Spirit of the Lord moves in my heart I will dance like David danced”.
It is my heart’s desire for us to stand in unity and honor God just like this great ancient king.
This year’s March sets out from a place deserving our deepest respect. It is full of symbolism we cannot afford to forget. Over here we see the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, symbolises the sacrifice of people fighting for our freedom and democracy. Behind us is the cross – a symbol of victory and grace. A symbol of God’s limitless love, the highest sacrifice made by the very Creator of heavens and earth, our God, Jesus Christ. There is one more symbol here, we can see it in the distance, a symbol of patriotism. It is the monument of a man who proved with more than words that our Homeland is something more than a set of empty phrases. This monument commemorates Marshal Jozef Pilsudski.
It was Marshal Pilsudski who said: “A nation who does not respect its Past does not deserve the respect of the Present and has no right to a Future”.
This place where we are standing today calls to us in so many ways to REMEMBER, the past generations are calling – DO NOT FORGET. God Himself is calling us to learn and draw conclusions from the experience of those who came before us.
God, in His Word, tells us about many places of remembrance. When Joshua crossed the Jordan River he used stones to build a monument, proclaiming: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’ then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’ for the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever” (Joshua 4:20-24).
We live in times when many want to mock the achievements of the past generations, but we, Christians, should be different: WE ARE MEANT TO REMEMBER!
We, Christians need to cultivate this universal, unchanging truth: “If we don’t know where we are coming from, we will not know were we are going”.
We are marching for Jesus every day, in everything we do, in our lifestyle, in the words we speak. Once a year, however, we can march for Jesus together, as one family. On this very special day we can march as one. We have the opportunity to honor the One who died for our sins and was not ashamed to call us His children.
In this place, I want to tell my God: “I praise You for what you have done, that it was your will to leave Your throne and save a sinner like me”.
If I also had the opportunity to say a few words to those heroes who died for our freedom, this is what I would tell them:
„Heroes! We live in times when patriotism is often unwelcome and the words GOD, HONOR AND HOMELAND are mocked. But we, Christians from all over the world declare and want you to know that we remember and we are grateful for your courage, sacrifice and faith in a better future. We know that it is thanks to you and to the one God, Jesus Christ, that we can stand here today, enjoying the freedom you have purchased for us with your own blood. We bow our heads, expressing our deepest thanks”.
Lord, today there are so many important people gathered in this place, but it is our heart’s desire for you, Lord Jesus, God Almighty, to bless us with Your presence. This March is for You alone. These people have gathered for Your glory. Lead us all through our capital city – Warsaw!
Closing, I would like to recall words once spoken in the very place where we are standing now. They were pronounced 35 years ago by another Pole who lived, like me, in a foreign land, missing his homeland and longing to see it fully devoted to God.
I want to repeat these words after a great Patriot, voice them loud and clear, so that all of heaven and earth can hear me as I pray these words from Psalm 104:
“Myself a son of this land, I am calling today… Let your Spirit descend! Let your Spirit descend! and renew the face of the earth – of this land! Amen!”
Let us remember that the Word of God is powerful.
These are my wishes for you, Poland, and for every person standing here in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ”.

Festival of Hope and March for Jesus partnered in what turned out to be the biggest evangelistic crusade in the history of Poland.
Artur Pawlowski addressing the crowd during the Festival of Hope in Warsaw in 2014
This was an historical moment. For the first time Billy Graham Evangelistic Association during their entire history has joined two separate events together into one to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the bigger number of people.
This amazing event took place in Warsaw, Poland on the 14 and 15 of June 2014.
Festival of Hope and March for Jesus partnered in what turned out to be the biggest evangelistic crusade in the history of Poland.
Artur Pawlowski the organizer of the Nationwide March for Jesus in Poland led thousands of people to the stadium where Franklin Graham shared the gospel and asked the crowd, “Will you accept His love?”
The two-night event ended with thousands of responses to the invitation to accept Christ. More than 30,000 people heard the Gospel preached by Franklin Graham at Pepsi Arena. And even more outside of Warsaw watched the event online thanks to BGEA live streaming the event at BillyGraham.org/Live.

Looking out into the crowd, you couldn’t help but be moved by the mix of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Because Festival of Hope organizers helped promote the march and March for Jesus organizers did the same for Franklin Graham’s visit, volunteers between the two events also crossed.
Festival counsellor Mariusz said he was pleased with the March for Jesus turnout, but also glad the Festival of Hope could add to the message organizers wanted to deliver.
“Many people can make an excuse to not go to the march,” Mariusz explained. But because of the entertainment and Gospel message the Franklin Graham Festival offered, “it was a great chance to invite someone.”
The weekend event began with performances by popular Polish choir TGD, the Tommy Coomes Band and Dennis Agajanian. Michael W. Smith and Newsboys also performed.
Newsboys lead singer Michael Tait told the crowd, “For all the new believers out there who gave their life to Christ in Poland, this is what I want you to do. I want you to live your life with abandon.”
Where each person came from or how they got there didn’t matter. The crowd simply wanted to hear about the “hope” the Festival’s name promised to offer. And they did.

Minister Rick McIver is going to officially open the March for Jesus 2014! Come to this amazing event June 15 2014 1 PM at Millennium Park where the name that is above every name JESUS is going to be lifted up! We will march and dance for our LORD and SAVIOR!!!
Calgary, AB — This Father’s Day, local Christians are invited to honour their “Heavenly Father” by proclaiming the name which is above every other name, the name of Jesus Christ, who is Lord and Saviour. “No believer in Jesus Christ should miss this oppor- tunity to participate in this annual event to publicly pro- claim that we are part of the army of brave warriors who represent the Kingdom of Heaven,” said Artur Pawloski, organizer of the event.
Marchers take to the streets of Calgary to dance in the Lord’s honour, sing songs of praise and broadcast to all that the Mighty King has won the victory, that He is alive, and that all glory belongs to Him. “May the streets of Calgary be fl ooded with thousands of followers and disciples of Jesus Christ. And may the heavens be shaken and the bondages destroyed as those who are called by His name come in unity to raise His name high, and to shout aloud that Jesus is the Son of God!” Pawloski exclaimed.
“Many blessings in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. We hope to see you on the 15th of June as we honour Jesus, for only He is the way, the truth and the life,” Pawloski concluded.

Warsaw, Poland – Poland’s capital city is getting prepared to host what is expected to be the largest evangelistic crusade in the history of modern Poland. This event, organized by the Protestant church, is expecting 30,000 people from all over the country to attend. Such a large gathering will be a beacon of hope to other nations and will a spur a spiritual revival where many souls will be converted to the Lord and brethren in Christ will have their faith reaf fi rmed.
Led by Pastor Artur Pawlowski, he will be joined with musician Michael W. Smith and Evangelist Franklin Graham. After the ribbon cutting ceremony the event becomes a March for Jesus with everyone marching to the Royal Castle, followed by stops at the Presidential Palace and at the Parliament House before ending at the National Stadium. At every stop there will be speeches and prayers led by the clergy and by numerous dignitaries including high diplomats, various members of parliament, ambas- sadors, ministers and the Mayor of Warsaw.
At Pi?sudski Square, Graham, together with Pawlowski, will lay fl owers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to pay tribute to the Polish soldiers who fought on different battle fi elds. Pawlowski will also sign the book of memo- ries on behalf of March for Jesus. He hopes to remind those in attendance of the men and women who paid the price for others to live in freedom, without the fear of persecution for their beliefs. He will also speak with an emphasis on patriotism, honour, family, faith and God. He wants those gathered at the march to see that past generations should be cherished for enduring hardships with courage and honour because their actions sealed the fate of Poland’s present democracy as well as communicating the idea that a high value must be placed on recognizing the past because a nation that does not know where it came from will also not know where it is going.
Last year’s March for Jesus 2013, with its special guest British Christian Singer/Songwriter and Worship Leader, Graham Kendrick, was a huge success. This year’s march is also expected to enjoy similar success as it will end at the National Stadium where Franklin Graham will invite people to repent and turn to Jesus. The two day event will also include a concert that will feature Michael W. Smith

This Father’s day let us all get out to the streets of Calgary to honour our heavenly Father as we proudly proclaim the name which is above every other name: the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
No believer in Jesus Christ should afford to miss this opportunity to participate in this annual event to publicly proclaim that we are part of the army of brave warriors who represent the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth as with great joy and gladness we take the streets of Calgary to dance in His honour, sing songs of praise to His name and broadcast to all that our Mighty King has won the Victory, that He is alive and that all the Glory belongs to Him!
As part of the body of Christ, dare to join us this June 15th to openly be part of this great privilege to show your alliance, love and devotion to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords knowing that the King himself personally and gloriously will make His presence known as His people without shame celebrate Him confessing before the face of the enemy that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Creator of heaven and earth and of all that is seen and unseen.
As indicated in the Bible in the book of Romans 1:16-19, we as professing Christians should not be ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes but sometimes believers have a problem to publicly manifest their faith being afraid of appearing foolish to others while evil forces do not have the slightest problem or shame in showing so unmasked and in the general view their sins and offences to God.
Last year alone, Calgary’s streets were flooded with people of wrong sexual preferences during a homosexual parade of over 30,000 attendees and none of them were embarrassed the slightest to publicly even present their nakedness in front of families and in front of future generations to openly proclaim and manifest that they are not ashamed to declare the name of their master (Satan) and in the same way not concerned with provoking greatly the wrath of the Living God.
But I hope, trust and pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you and your household are serving the Lord and that you make the time to make yourself present not to an event of perversion as the rest of the world does but to be partakers of this precious event that offers sweet perfume to the Father as we joyfully dare to honour the name of His son Jesus.
Let us all be faithful devotees to our faith, to our beliefs but especially to the living God testifying the true meaning of what being a Christian is all about and let’s no longer take refuge in the four walls of a church but with a joyful heart let’s join other faithful believers as with one voice we give shouts of victory on the streets of Calgary shouting: “Our Lord Jesus the King of kings lives and Worthy is The Lamb of His reward!”
May the streets of Calgary also be flooded with thousands of followers and disciples of Jesus Christ and may the heavens be shaken and the bondages destroyed as those that are called by His name have come in unity to raise His name high and to shout aloud that Jesus is the Son of God!
Many blessings in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we hope to see you in the month of June as we honour Jesus for only Him is the way, the truth and the life.

Our team included Art, his son Nathaniel, Polish Pastor Jerzy Przeradowski, David Hughes and myself. It is very interesting that Art Pawlowski received a prophetic word before we departed from a gentleman in Calgary, He said “Remember it takes just a small spark to start a big fire” and that’s exactly what happened. We rented a car in Paris and drove to Den Haag Holland where we joined Pastor Jerzy in the hotel, so far everything was going smooth and without problems until of course we began to do preparations for the March For Jesus. There is something absolutely amazing when it comes to lifting up the name of Jesus Christ because it is at that point of stepping into the threshing floor with both feet when the spirit of Satan the adversary makes Himself felt and the spiritual warfare begins. In the name of Jesus The Christ is the authority where in is the universal power Satan The Devil fears the most. You see it is the name of Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection that every knee will have to bow and every tongue will have to confess that He is Lord of all. It is there through perseverance and prayer that we truly experience the victory and the will of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The place where signs and wonders manifest is when the people of Jesus are not ashamed to step out according to the will of God and proclaim His salvation to edify the believer and bring the lost to righteousness.
We knew that God sent us there also with the understanding that Europe is in such a darkness that we were going to be in opposition and the spirit of Jesus in us was right. First it started with the enormous fear the leaders felt in leading the people out from the four walls to the streets of Den Haag. Europe faces huge challenges with very aggressive Islamists, homosexuals, abortionists and we witnessed that the Christian church is terrified to confront and address these arising problems facing their communities. For the past few decades instead of taking the territory for righteousness, Christians are just defending themselves and because of their passiveness the entire body of Christ “believers” throughout the world are continuing to lose more of their rights and freedoms. This act of non-resistance to the devils siege works continues to create an increasing amount of intimidation. Because of our experience in Calgary we were able to pick up on this fact very quickly and we knew what needed to happen, those people needed encouragement and an example of how to take the gospel and the name of Jesus out into the open.
The next day we met in front of Den Haag city hall with the local Pastors where we organized and equip the Church to March For Jesus. For them this was a totally new experience, we marched through the streets singing, lifting banners and proclaiming the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the few hours we distributed many gospel tracts and other local Christian material they had brought with them. We made a few stops where the Gospel was preached with megaphones and the march ended at the parliament building where prophetic words and prayer was proclaimed. The brothers and sisters that participated were very edified and deeply touched because of the outdoor experience through the Holy Spirit. The words of one pastor will describe this event the best “We have never seen something like this before”. What they experienced was a real movement of the Holy Spirit in their souls not a fake self – man made emotional hype, the difference between the two is so real that they will never forget, the Holy Spirit of Jesus Himself marched with us! God The Father loves when His son’s name is lifted high. In Den Haag on the 23 of April 2013 the name that is above all names marched through the streets; Praise God!
Den Haag Holland
When a Church steps out in love in order to bring souls to righteousness Jesus stands with us and darkness has no choice but to flee! The little fire just started to burn again in Europe. Mission accomplished!
On Wednesday the conference began, we were able to worship our God with thousands of brothers and sisters from forty three different nations. Through worship, preaching and seminars people were being challenged to step out by faith and reach this lost generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ, the message to “Revive Europe” was repeated throughout the entire four days of the convention. Art Pawlowski was granted the opportunity to challenge Pastors to go out with the message of hope into the market place. It is worth mentioning that this came after a great series of obstacles. Art himself repeatedly said during our time in Europe the one thing the Devil fears the most is the Church that obeys and goes not just sits and talks, definitely that was the case here. No doubt the Devil took extra notice of the small envoy sent to them from Canada and attempted to prevent the challenging message from being proclaimed. First it started with a miss – communication between the organizers and the convention staff. When we arrived for the seminar it seemed as if someone had forgotten that the event was to take place. The speakers were not there and the video presentation that was to take place had missing cables and equipment, wow, talk about opposition! By this time we all knew we were in the middle of serious warfare, we all started to pray. Half an hour latter the people were drawn by the Holy Spirit and soon filled the room and a certain Brother was compelled to run and get the equipment, one Pastor supplied the laptop computer and cables so we were able to proceed with the presentation. From experience we know that when there is such huge opposition for what God is about to do that is when the power of Jesus moves hearts and minds of men to act accordingly to His will so we all may experience great things and that is exactly what happened. People were crying and in the end ninety five percent of the Pastors and attendees came forward to the altar to receive from The Holy Spirit the passion Jesus wants His children to receive for all souls. The regional overseers were impacted so much that we received five invitations to hosts seminars and lead marches for Jesus in Spain, France, Switzerland, Sweden and Ireland. What the enemy meant for evil God once again turned around and used it for His glory. Hallelujah!

What is also beautiful about our Jesus is that He loves to bless His children with different surprises. When you are about the business of God as His ambassador His love manifests in many ways. Being in Holland we were able to visit the Corrie Ten Boom museum an amazing woman along with Her family who were empowered by the Holy Spirit were able to hide approximately eight hundred people from the hands of Nazi Germany during the world war two occupation. They had the courage to risk their lives and stand for righteousness through obedience saving the lives of many people. We visited Her house to see with our own eyes the famous “hiding place” behind the wall of Corrie’s bedroom. We were taken for a history tour and we could see the courage and sacrifice of the few that were led by God and how they were able to accomplish the impossible, As Corrie said “not me but Christ in me”.

We Also had the privilege to meet Johan Huibers a Dutchman that built a full scale functioning model of Noah’s ark. The vessel is four hundred and twenty seven feet long, ninety five feet wide and seventy five feet high with live animals and also full scale Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinoceros etc showing more than adequate room to host all the animals mentioned in the bible. It is an amazing structure with a restaurant, movie theater, crafts and displays of ancient middle history and dress scenes from the life of Noah and games for kids, I particularly liked the display of the vessels of the tabernacle Moses built that included the holiest of holies with the ark of the covenant and the priestly garments. We met Johan personally and were able to record a special invitation from Him for the March For Jesus.

The conference ended on Saturday and after that Art had the opportunity to meet with the general overseer for the Redeemed Christian Church Of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye an organization that is established in over two hundred and sixty nations. The original appointment was arranged in Canada but because of bureaucracy and different obstacles it seemed almost impossible for the meeting to actually take place. And again we prayed and through the perseverance of one local Pastor that would not give up eventually Mr Pawlowski and Mr Adeboye were able to meet. The general overseer was greatly moved saying that this truly was a move of God and that He himself with the organization that He leads would grant total support and blessing for the March For Jesus to happen in Nigeria this December. The heart of the King in the hands of the Lord is like rivers of flowing waters He directs them whichever way He chooses!

After the meeting on our way to Paris we decided to stop in Brussels the Capital of Belgium and parliament head quarters for the United Nations. After a wonderful meal and famous Belgium chocolates we went straight to Paris for a couple days of sight seeing. We had a chance to see Louvre the biggest museum in the world with its famous paintings and sculptures and historical architecture. The favor of God was tangible throughout the entire trip for example Nathaniel was required to do a assigned video tape recording for French class and on the last day of our visit we had enough time to tour the Eifel Tower. God cleared the sky for the amazing view of the entire city of Paris and even though the lift was closed when we first arrived, just before paying for our tickets to the delight of Nathaniel the top floor was opened again so He was able to complete His project. Another great testimony of the Holy Spirit Of Jesus being with us during our visit to Europe is how we were granted to take all the first available flights as stand by customers. We required two flights to Europe and two flights back and miraculously the four seats needed were always available. We were never waiting more than a few hours even though most flights were announced as sold out. The hand of Jesus was clearly felt, I felt His Holy Spirit opening the doors and leading the way the entire time. Our God is lovingly faithful.

The visit to Europe was extremely edifying, we met fellow believers from half way around the world and shared memorable encounters. Art delivered a very powerful sermon to the Pastors regarding the importance to exercise our faith in order to be built up in the teachings we are taught within the gatherings. I myself was blessed by the entire experience from beginning to end. Being surrounded by the spirits of the Holy Roman Empire and handing out tracts in the streets gave me real prospective on the spiritual condition of souls in Europe. The Holy Spirit revealed we are in the last days and all who stand without being ashamed of Jesus will receive the greatest rewards, there are millions of souls who desperately need to be refreshed and still many others who need to receive the promise God gave to Abraham. Not enough of the nations are coming to us so we must go to them, in this way we are performing and fulfilling our expected duties commanded to us from Jesus. When we witness outside the four walls the Holy Spirit is manifested to the non believers so they can see the hope that is in us, let us go outside the camp and let the nations see Jesus Christ the hope of glory in us so they to might enter into our gates and experience the Holy Spirit in them.
When we step out we cannot lose rather what we can expect is a strengthening and increase in the body of believers, let us therefore go outside the camp and bear the reproach of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for when we are weak then we are strong.

Once again, the march will start at Millennium Plaza and will end at Olympic Plaza with celebration, praise, worship and prayer during the march and the celebration to follow at Olympic Plaza.
We look forward to working with you to make the 2013 March for Jesus equally beautiful and, if God is willing, even more beautiful than last year. We are asking God to help us to refine anything that needs improving naturally, but we are asking, once again, for God to make this event a work of God, and not merely a work of men. We are so grateful to God for His tender mercies and for His permission to start the process for the 2013 march.
Please share this event notification with all your friends and family both on facebook and you through e-mail. You can e-mail them and ask them to click “like” on the facebook March for Jesus page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/March-for-Jesus/330986356217).

A true honouring of our awesome God!
Every year when it comes to organizing this day of worship we are always faced with many obstacles including opposition from various people. For example, finances, (it costs tens of thousands of dollars to put a festival like this together), will we have enough to pay for everything; volunteers; (the amount of people needed to organize and manage everything that goes on before, during and after this event) will they commit their time to make the March successful; all the food (thousands of hot dogs, sausages, steaks, hamburgers, hundreds of loaves of bread, drinks etc.,) will the supplies be provided; there are also some men with the desire in their wicked hearts to thwart this celebration (one of the things that the “devil” hates the most is when the name of Jesus Christ is publicly lifted high) ; and of course something that no man is able to control, the weather, will our God bless us with sun, will He hold back the clouds of rain?
You see, there is so many unknown factors before this glorious event takes place. Everyone that puts their hand to this plow has to have faith big enough to move those mountains. Every year is the same. We start by faith and we finish with faith. The rest belongs to the Lord.
Now we will tell you what the King of kings Jesus Christ did for all of us on June 17, 2012.
First of all, everything that we needed for this event to be successful was provided, finances, food, all the permits, and the perfect amount of wonderful volunteers came to together to build “brick by brick” this joyous celebration for our God. It was a pleasure watching the beautiful men and women of God preparing and organizing everything that was needed for the March for Jesus. They were busy cutting, packing, preparing, loading, unloading and all the other necessary activities. I felt like someone put me into a bee hive and the joy that those people had while doing all of this was contagious. I have to tell you that it was an enormous privilege to work with true worshipers of Jesus Christ, they worshiped Him not only with their lips but also with their deeds in spirit and in truth and it was manifested in their actions.
Like last year the weather channels were saying that it was going to rain on Father’s Day. When we arrived at Millennium Park the dark clouds were all around us and I know of many people that were praying for God to push away the clouds and have the sun shine forth. As I was talking with police officers “our escort for the March” a very strong wind came pushing the black clouds away and literally minutes later the sun appeared. And what happened as we marched was even more incredible. As we moved forward the dark clouds were being continuously pushed one block ahead of us and the participants went the whole march under the sunshine. We have to understand that we do believe in the God of signs and wonders and He just simply loves to show them to us. It looked like He was not only among us but that He also went ahead of us “pushing the obstacles out of the way”. Don’t get me wrong, if God would choose to allow the rain to fall we would still love and honour Him with this celebration. On June 17, 2012 His will was sunshine but even if it wasn’t He would still be worthy of praise on our streets with our fellow brothers and sisters.
Artur Pawlowski with Ric McIver and the dark clouds:
The March for Jesus 2012 was officially opened by the Minister of Transportation Ric McIver who came with his wife Christine to bless this celebration and this is what he said: “I am honoured to be here with everybody to celebrate our Christian faith on the streets of this city, and we are proud of it…we are going to have fun and I’m proud to be here with all of you.” Remember to keep this family in your prayers. We need more officials that are not ashamed to celebrate their faith in the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Jesus Christ.
Ric McIver with his wife Christine:
Ric McIver officially opening March for Jesus 2012:
The scriptures for this year’s march as you can see on the t-shirts are from:
2 Timothy 4:1-5
4 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage —with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
And Matthew 24:36-39 36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
Revelation 22:12 “12
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
This year was very special. For some time now we have had our hearts set on introducing more spontaneous dancing on the streets. We believe that God lives in the praises of His people and He simply delights when we all feel like dancing, after all we are saved and alive because of our mighty God, we have a lot of things to celebrate, and we did just that.
At the first stop there was prayer and a lot of dancing and we did not start the march until a few songs and dances were done and we did that through all three stops and what happened was of course very predictable. The joy of the Lord hit everyone! There were hundreds of people in different places during the march that formed dancing circles and some formed lines and holding hands they danced through the crowds of people. The dance and the happiness released a new atmosphere that we have not witnessed before. People started chanting “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus”, and the sound reverberated for many city blocks in every direction. Thanks to Jacek, for the first time we had three sets of speakers with a wireless connection and the name of Jesus was lifted to the heavens. For those few hours Stevens Avenue was gloriously transformed, it just did not look or sound the same. People were coming out of the restaurants and businesses hearing the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ! There were many Gospel tracts distributed and a continuous flow of witnessing to the onlookers.
People dancing on the streets of Calgary:
What a great opportunity to let everyone know about The Savior that died for the sins of all mankind and who rose from the grave after taking the keys of hell and death. Even the police officers that were escorting us had a wonderful time. They looked very happy as they displayed smiles on their faces, and by the way we want to thank them for their professionalism, they did an awesome job by making sure that everyone was safe and the roads were properly blocked. We had people representing many countries from around the world and yet we all felt as one united family that came to celebrate the One and the same God, our Heavenly Father. The youngest participant was 3 weeks old and an eternally younger one that that was a 93 year woman from Peru that marched the whole way.
The young and the youngest participants:
The best way to describe this amazing day would be with the words of some of the people:
Ramona Toderas “This was the best March for Jesus in the past 3 years!!!!!! Please keep it going, we need this so much!!! This city needs it!!! We love it and want to be there every year!!!!”
“It was awesome , Jesus was with us all the way.” Carlos
Barb Gravel “It was truly awesome to be marching with other Christians to celebrate the true Father’s Day 🙂”
Ramona Toderas “God is great!!! How about the weather???? No rain, no thunder storms, as predicted, just fantastic!!”
Lisa Bond “The unity and the love for one another in the body of Christ on this occasion gave me an awesome insight into how wonderful it will be when Jesus returns and we will rule and reign with Him!”
Penni Tapscott Daniels “It was so awesome to come down from east central Alberta to march for our Lord and Saviour. We were so blessed. Jesus you are our reason to live . Thank you to every person in front of the scenes and behind the scenes . You made Fathers day a day to remember. Thank you Jesus for all the good and faithful servants and also all the people that came to proclaim the name of Jesus. Blessings to all.“
Sarah Derski “Incredible!!! God Bless =)”
Barry Tuomi “The Lord loves the worship of his children. Wow this is worship to the power of 7. Jesus, King of the nations.”
“God bless you for your strong and faithful witness in Calgary AND the good fruit—the works of your hands—your compassionate sharing of faith and material goods with those who appreciate it so much!”-Rod Taylor
We also received an official letter from the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General commending us for putting on the March for Jesus 2012. This is a minister that is reminding everyone that we are not, no matter what position we are in, to forget to confess our God and Savior Jesus Christ before men. Please pray for those in power that they would bow their knees before Jesus and rule the city, province and the country with the truth and righteousness of God.
Here is the letter from the Minister:
When we arrived at Olympic Plaza there were already volunteers preparing food and manning the clothing giveaway table. The worship teams started their part and we all truly felt like this was a family reunion. There were line ups at the various barbeques that provided food for all the hungry marchers and the ice cream truck was again a big hit. They gave thousands of ice cream cones away.
Distributing ice cream, clothes and barbeques:
Thank you Steve for your generous heart and thank you to the Filipino Church for volunteering your time in helping Steve with this gigantic task. At the stage we extend a special thanks to Joe Sinanan for organizing and managing the various worship teams. To the worship teams them selves, you did great, it would not have been this beautiful with out you. To Suzette Farah the artist that painted through the whole time of worship at Olympic Plaza, thank you for expressing the creativity of our God. Thank you preachers for your testimonies and your messages of salvation.
Various worship teams, preachers and the painting:
The children had a wonderfully joy filled time at the bouncy houses and water activities. We always desire that this day is a family day, something for all of us from the young to the youngest because the truth is we are an eternal family.
Children having fun:
This is the first time that we have not had one glitch. Everything went so smoothly that not one issue arose. From an organizational point of view it was a dream come true. Not one incident interfered with the festivities. Everything went perfect from the march to the music to the food straight through to the clean up. Praise You Lord for the favour we have found in Your eyes.
For next year we already have people from other churches asking if they can introduce more floats. What a wonderful idea, to bring a variety of different “colours” into the march. Also during this year’s march we had a flat bed trailer about 20 feet long that some kids rode on and they had a great time. During this years activities we had a table with shofars that was very popular, so we are thinking of adding more of this kind of venue next year. Please let us know if you or someone you know would like to bring a display for 2013.
In summary, I am telling you that there is no other place I would rather be on June 17 2012 than with my brothers and sisters who are not ashamed of Jesus Christ, during this wonderful celebration for our King on the streets of Calgary!
See you next year if the Lord tarry. And if you have any ideas about making this celebration even better please let us know. God bless you. If you are googling in search of secular media coverage for the March for Jesus, you will not find any. Although we sent out press releases, they refused to cover the event. No secular television, no secular radio, and no secular newspapers covered the event even though we gave them plenty of advanced notice. But although the secular media is biased against Christians and Christian events, we can be the media of today. We ask that you promote this story all over the world.
God bless you,

Even though there is still a lot of time until the March for Jesus 2012, there is much to organize to make sure that the march is a memorable and God glorifying event. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that the first March for Jesus 2012 organizational meeting is soon to be held at the Centre Street West Campus facility. Last year’s organizational meeting went well in that we had many people come out and present their views and commit to assisting with and promoting the March for Jesus 2011. Those individuals actively delivered on their commitment and were helpful in getting the word out and in getting more participants to come and enjoy what the Lord was doing. We were blessed that some even faithfully financially supported the march, others committed and delivered worship teams, and equipment, and still others came and volunteered in various ways both leading up to and on the day of the march.
We are hoping to see even more attendees and participants in this year’s organizational meeting and in the carrying out of the March this year. So if you have ideas on making the March better, if you have skills, and gifting to contribute, please come and participate in this year’s organizational meeting. You are important and needed in making this celebration all that it can be in Christ Jesus to the glory of the Father.
We are asking for your feedback on the following TV commercial. We are thinking of putting it on CTV, Global TV, etc and would like to know your thoughts:
We would also like your feedback on the following radio commercial as we are thinking of airing it on QR77, AM660 and AM1140 and would like to know your thoughts:
Here is a video to remind you about how wonderful the March for Jesus 2011 was, and to encourage you to get to word out to as many as possible about the upcoming march.
The organizational meeting will be held at Centre Street Church West Campus on Saturday November 5th 1:30pm
Please encourage your friends your family and your neighbours to come and have a wonderful time at our Father’s Day Celebration. Let them know that you are proclaiming your love for Jesus publicly to the glory of your Heavely Father.
To all who came to last year’s organizational meeting and contributed in one way or another to making the March for Jesus 2011 a great success, we sincerely thank you and ask God’s blessing upon you for your heart and service.
On behalf of the March for Jesus 2012 Team,
God bless you.
If you missed this year’s March for Jesus, you missed a miracle of God. All weather channels were forecasting rain and thunder showers all day, and as you may recall the days leading up to the march were filled with heavy rain. We woke up in the morning looking at the Calgary Sun weather forecast and prayed, “God the weather is under your control. If it’s your will, you can push the rain back, you can give us an open window with open skies as we march.” We know that many other believers were praying for that miracle to happen.
When we arrived at the gathering point, at Millennium Park, the whole sky was dark. We received a call from the company we rented the bouncy houses from and they told us that it was raining everywhere in the city of Calgary. They asked us if we still wanted the bouncy houses to be set up. We said “yes, by faith, God will move the clouds for the March for Jesus”, and here is what happened. A very strong wind came from the North, pushing the clouds away from the march. So for the entire march, God truly opened the skies and blessed us with sun and an awesome time of worship, praise and prayer. God proved once again, that He is the True and Living God, the maker of the heavens and the earth and that there is no God like Him.

(About four thousand people participated in the 2011 March for Jesus. Street church insert)
Roughly 500 people showed up for the 2011 March for Jesus Sunday afternoon. The event started at Millenium Plaza around 1 p.m., wound down Stephen Ave. and ended at Olympic Plaza.
Marchers were decked out in red shirts and caps, some in signs of the sins they say Jesus saved them from. Former alderman Ric McIver opened the ceremony, while the crowd shouted and cheered for Jesus, and a truck blared gospel music.
The March for Jesus proceeded down Stephen Ave. to Olympic Plaza
Numbers were generally considered lower then last year, likely due to threatening weather and Fathers Day.
Organizer Daniel Howard pointed out to the crowd started that it was not a “Race for Jesus,” but a “March For Jesus” and encouraged people to take time and walk in an organized manner. Marchers were generally boisterous, but respectful.
The event was organized by Street Church and supported by a number of local churches and businesses. Organizers made it quite clear the intention of this presentation was. The focus of the event was a declaration from this group that they believed that Jesus was Lord.
Many in the March were carrying gospel tracts explaining how to be “saved,” handing them out to the spectators and passers by. I happened to get four.
A common message in the tracts addressed the question, what happens when you die? My pamphlets didn’t have contact information on them. What if had wanted to ask questions about salvation and death? A bit of an oversight, I thought.
Although I would consider myself a follower of Jesus, I did not wear the red shirt or cap. My job was to observe and report, and I was most interested in the reactions of onlookers.
A young man was holding a sign near Bankers Hall that said, “Grownups don’t need imaginary friends.” Marchers didn’t seem particularly affected or offended by the sign. One even took a picture with him. But it was very clear this person was affected by this event as he continued to follow the March to it’s conclusion at Olympic Plaza, where participants continued with worship, prayer and provided food for marchers and others that were around.
Throughout the March Howard stressed that an important objective of the March was to let the city know that Christians were praying for the guidance and direction of this city going forward. Marchers didn’t care about the weather (it rained) and neither the prayer nor the food stopped flowing. Not even rejected tracts daunted the spirits of the marchers.
Not all Christians would be comfortable presenting their faith this way. Some would rather express their faith in a more personal and quiet matter and would prefer to let their “light” shine.
I may not agree with the marchers’ methods or their message, but you can be certain that this group will continue to be a presence within their community. They strongly feel their message, and the message for all Christians, is to proclaim that Jesus is Lord.

CALGARY — Waving flags and donning red T-shirts and hats, hundreds of Christians took to the streets of downtown Calgary on Sunday to march and praise Jesus Christ.
Chris Friesen joined the March for Jesus to remind others that Christians around the world are being persecuted for their faith.
Friesen said he had just returned from an eight-day trip to Colombia, where he interviewed many people.
“I’m (at the March for Jesus) to encourage fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to remember our other brothers and sisters around the world who couldn’t do this publicly,” he said.
The event also brought something not seen too often anymore: a small aircraft dragging a banner across the sky.
The banner read: CHRIST IS COMING BE PREPARED!
Donna Kenner, who has been a Christian for 30 years, credits her faith with her helping through the deaths of people in her life.
She said Jesus brought her out of “hopelessness” and “I wouldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for my faith.”
Marchers began Sunday afternoon at Shaw Millenium Park and then headed into downtown along 8th Avenue before finishing at Olympic Plaza.
Most participants came from Calgary and other parts of Alberta.
One of those, 16-year-old Josh Williams, said the march was a way to worship the Lord and help them become bolder with their faith.
Ryan Stockert said there are marches all the time in Calgary, but they deal with what is current. March for Jesus is about eternity, he said.
“We want to show the world that God isn’t some big ogre with a crushing hand, but he sent his son to die for us,” he said. “That’s sacrifice.”
